Are Sticker Republic's stickers water resistant?
Yes. All three lines - ColorTrue™, Die-Cut UV 150 µm and Economy UV - hold up against water, light abrasion and reasonable outdoor exposure.
How the lines differ:
ColorTrue™ - 86 µm polymeric vinyl with a 76 µm UV laminate on top. The laminate protects both color and surface. Pick this when the sticker will face repeated rubbing or heavy water (packaging, outdoor, automotive with high visual traffic).
Die-Cut UV 150 µm - 150 µm polymeric vinyl, matte finish as standard. UV ink cures and seals itself, so it's water-resistant without an extra laminate. Great for most real-world use: laptop, gear, brand collateral.
Economy UV - monomeric vinyl, UV ink. Water-resistant for normal use. If you need long outdoor life or heavy abrasion, go with ColorTrue™ or Die-Cut UV 150 µm.
None of the lines melts on first contact with water. That said, if you're planning to put them on a boat hull, ColorTrue™ is the call.
